Validity

I have blogged many times before.  Recently, someone scoffed at this notion of sending words out into the unknown.  But I believe in it.

I've been obsessed with it, driven to do it.  Why?  Mostly for the shallow, self-satisfaction of being acknowledged by others.  Deluding myself, thinking that a reader, an audience, makes me more than I was.  This project, like almost any other that I've started, will probably bore me at some point, and I'll let it slowly fade into cyber-obscurity.  For now, though, I'm going to give a go.  But with new rules.

  1. Anonymity.  No names, hints, locations, pictures and so forth.
  2. This is personal.  This is not a "how-to" blog, an advice blog, a shopping blog, or a political blog.  It's just a little room to write.
Blogging is valid, in my opinion.  Whether or not anyone reads this, whether or not they care, I write.
